MSELECT are looking for an Area Quality Manager on behalf of our client an International Industrial Company based in Najaf region.

Summary of the job

The Area Quality Manager is responsible for Concrete Ready Mix Quality Control and product development in an area comprising 5 to 25 concrete plants and a production of 100-1000 Km3 .  The area Quality Manager ensures the full application of the Quality Manual/Quality Procedures in the operations in compliance with client Policy and following the local Standards and Regulations of the Industry.


Main responsibilities

  • Manage the Area Central Lab Manager
  • Manages quality technicians team of the area
  • Implements the Quality Manual and Quality Procedures  
  • Responsible for mix designs cost reduction (design + optimization)
  • Participate  at the raw materials selection and characterization
  • Analyses QC results & track KPIs for concrete and raw materials using company Tools
  • Pro-actively drives the Implementation of Value Added Products
  • Technical support to the sales team and site assistance  
  • Minimizes the consequences & contributes to management of product related customers’ claims  
  • Trains technicians, sales representatives, batches and drivers on quality issues and procedures.  
  • Manage the process of periodical raw materials stock control, drives RCA in case of discrepancies

Professional Competency

  • Engineering Degree (Materials, Civil Engineer) or industry equivalent of education and experience. 
  • A minimum of five years Supervisory/Managerial experience working in a similar environment
