Job Description

MSELECT is looking for an Automation & Electrical Engineer for an international FMCG company in Erbil, minimum 4 years of related experience, Fluency in English, Arabic and Kurdish is a must.


Job Summary:

To handle all the automation/ electrical maintenance tasks, in addition of supporting the mechanical services tasks and implementing the planned maintenance programs.



  • To be the technical owner of a defined machinery, by managing all the maintenance activities and follow ups
  • Automation related tasks: (maintenance, troubleshooting and database management)
  • Supporting the general maintenance tasks (building, external equipment)
  • Assist in the installation & qualification of new equipment
  • Implementation & maintaining of all programs requirements: ISO 22000, HACCP, or any internal systems
  • Communicate shift activities through log book and shift meeting


Qualification and Experience:

  • BSc in Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering
  • 4 years of technical related experience as a minimum
  • Experience in low/medium voltage electrical components (switch gears, auto switching panels, transformers, power supply, UPS)
  • Automation systems handling, troubleshooting and maintenance (SIEMENS S7, SIEMENS 1200, Schneider)
  • Programming languages (LAD, STL, FBD)
  • Familiar with the Siemens WinCC software (WinCC fixable, WinCC explorer)
  • Average knowledge about the LAN troubleshooting and principles
  • Ability to read the P&IDs, and the electrical drawings
  • Process instrumentation knowledge (calibration, maintenance and principle)
  • Team work and leadership qualities
  • English/ Arabic Speaker, Kurdish and other languages are a plus

  • Closed maintenance orders percentage
