Job Description

MSELECT is looking to hire a Head of Indirect Sales Unit for an international telecommunications client to be based in Erbil, Iraq.

Responsibilities                                                             

  • Set Indirect Sales Operations Support Unit performance objectives, in coordination with Sales Support and Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Departments, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Unit strategic objectives and communicate periodic performance reports to provide evaluation results and recommend improvements    
  • Develop and implement Indirect Sales Operations Support Unit policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services
  • Carry out the day-to-day operations of the Indirect Sales Operations Support Unit, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employee in a motivated work environment
  • Check and monitor stock availability in WH for the distributors and the company through periodical reports received from account manager and web database and provide directions / actions
  • Prepare and consolidate daily distributors invoices and validate / reconcile financial data and amounts with finance
  • Prepare the required formulas for the weekly sales per denomination depending on voucher Top-Up and Gap and coordinate with sales support to prepare required quantities per denomination for release
  • Dispatch distributors request for (MVD, PostPaid,SMS1000) activation service and issues to concerned departments and conduct a continuous follow up to ensure adequate and timely solutions
  • Follow-up with sales support all issues escalated by distributors related to damaged, missing and defect SIM / voucher card and network issue / 207 service
  • Follow-up with distributors to solve customer documentation discrepancies and facilitate SIM info collection request once initiated from info and legal departments
  • Analyse market performance and price stability and provide distributors with periodical reports reflecting sales figures, commission schemes, voucher and SIM target and E-GO activation
  • Coordinate with legal the development of all contracts signed with distributors , POS , DROS and branded shop to secure approval of finance and top management
  • Contribute and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the supervision of the Sales Support Unit, set individual objectives, manage performance, develop and motivate staff, provide formal and informal feedback and appraisal, and provide guidance on training programs for employees in order to maximise subordinate and Unit performance 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • University degree in a related field is required.
  • Good interpersonal skills including ability to gain trust and build relationships
  • High communication skills
  • High standard of spoken and written English, Arabic and Kurdish is a must
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Work well under pressure and able to work long hours if required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
