Job Description

MSELECT is looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition in Baghdad for a leading telecommunication clients, 4 years of experience in the same role is requested, fluency in English and Arabic is must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Talent Acquisition Department Strategy and Plans as befitting the Department and business line needs and objectives
  • Set Talent Acquisition Department performance objectives, in coordination with the Strategy Management and Corporate Performance Department, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Department strategic objectives
  • Manage the implementation of Talent Acquisition Department policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfillment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition Department, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employees in a motivated work environment
  • Monitor and ensure the effective achievement of functional objectives through the leadership of the Talent Acquisition Department, set individual objectives, manage performance, develop and motivate staff, provide formal and informal feedback and appraisal, and provide guidance on training programs for employees in order to maximize subordinate and Department performance
  • Forecast demand and assess supply into a Manpower Plan and assist in the provision of forecasts
  • Process recruitment requests received from all departments, prioritize and work on filling vacancies internally or externally
  • Coordinate internal search for candidates from within the organization
  • Contribute to the attraction, selection and recruitment of high-caliber candidates from the labor market to secure suitable talents that best fit business requirements
  • Identify appropriate recruitment channels and develop manpower search capabilities which includes creating an on-going database of potential candidates, coordinating with external entities and participating in recruitment events including job fairs, exhibitions and university campaigns to ensure fulfillment of manpower requirements
  • Oversee the receipt, assessment and short-listing of employment resumes and employment applications, in line with Zain IQ manpower requirements and needs
  • Oversee screening and interviewing short-listed candidates and provide recruitment recommendations to internal/external concerned business/functional unit managers
  • Provide support to all Departments throughout the Recruitment process and interviewing stages and keep relevant Heads continuously informed of progress/updates
  • Coordinate in-house assessments of candidates with concerned managers
  • Complete interview assessment reports and provide management with recruitment reports
  • Review employment contract and supervise contract negotiation with selected candidates
  • Manage the on/off boarding process and other related processes ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
  • Review and publish reports as needed
Qualification and skills
  • Minimum 4 years in TA and management.
  • MSc or BSc in business administration or any related deportment.
  • Fluently speaking English and Arabic.
  • Strong confident personality is a key
