Job Description

MSELECT is looking for an IT Products & Support Officer to be based in Sulaimaniya on behalf of our client, a major Telecommunications Corporation.
As an IT products & Support Officer you will be responsible for projects related to the business, support and work on daily business requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues.
  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Ensure closure of all issues within the Service Level Agreement.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles.
  • B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience.
  • Proven working experience in enterprise technical support.
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, Oracle Data Bases and scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
