Job Description

MSELECT is recruiting on behalf of our International FMCG company in Erbil an IT/ Help Desk Support Assistant. Fluency in English and Arabic is requested. 

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues. 

  • Identifies, researches and resolves routine technical problems of low complexity.

  • Responds to telephone, email and on-line requests for technical support. 

  • Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. 

  • May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems. May perform password re-sets for users. May require an associate's degree or its equivalent. 

  • Reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. 

        Competencies

  • Proven experience as a help desk technician 

  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control

  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

  • Proficiency in English

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer-oriented and cool tempered

        Education and Certification Requirements

                BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field.

        Languages:
                English , Arabic & Kurdish is plus
