Job Description

Our Client is a leading provider of solutions to the Oil and Gas, and construction industries in Iraq and also international, they are currently looking for Pipeline Solutions Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting the sales and marketing activities of the Group’s business in trading of oilfield equipment and accessories and services to be based in their office in Erbil, Iraq.

Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Chemical Engineering or a related discipline;


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales related to project Pipeline materials.
  • Minimum of 2 years working in Iraq with similar responsibility or project management and engineering experience to the role in areas of oil and gas and construction.
  • Oil and Gas EPC and OSS Contract Tender Preparation and Implementation


  • Develop working relationships with key clients and partners, including international and local oil companies.  
  • To manage opportunities and issues across the entire range of Downhole solutions.
  • Work with commercial sales teams to increase acceptance and preference for client products at key end users.
  • Conduct technical training seminars for target customers.
  • Conduct analysis of target customers and markets to determine the technical needs and industry trends.
  • Assist in the development of product brochures, technical bulletins, and other communications
  • Reporting regularly to the director supervisor on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviors which may affect the business strategies. 
  • Overseeing, ensuring and supporting the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transaction.
  • Negotiating with customer relevant business contracts within the agreed delegation of authority including discount, price and volume structures.
  • Carrying out pre-qualification and registration exercises with clients in the region.
  • To penetrate and promote the name of all products and services.
