Job Description

MSELECT is looking to hire a Product Manager or Franchise manager for one of the international healthcare companies, The work is in Jeddah-KSA, the nationalities required are Egyptians or Lebanese only.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Key aspects of the job include creating brand guidelines and making sure that employees follow them. Responsible for overseeing the entire creative process for a single product, or group of products.
  • Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits.
  • Looking at the pricing of products and analyzing the potential profitability.
  • Generating names for new and existing products and services, coming up with ideas for new packaging designs, including shape, size, colors, fonts and imagery.
  • Supervising the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions through focus groups and market research.
  • Co-coordinating the launch program to external customers as well as employees.
  • In charge of Special Formula and strategic products range. Responsible for achieving sales target along with the sales team.
  •  Developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development.
  • Manage the sales administration function, operational performance and reporting to the head office.
  • Responsible for managing the sales team, assist in developing a regional business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence throughout KSA.
  • Assist in the development of the annual sales plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort)
  • Ensure that all sales representative activities are in accordance with the guidelines of the company.  
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by fulfilling a system of reports and communications involving sales reports.
  • Personally observing and educating the performance of medical representatives in the field on a regular basis.
  • Provide high standards of ongoing training for the medical representatives so that they possess sufficient medical and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner.
  • Insure ROI on all investment and proper usage of samples.
  • Answer questions and queries from health care professionals and KOL.
  • Keep up with medical and clinical data and presenting this data to health care professionals
  • Stay informed about the activities of health care professionals and organizations.
  • Stay up to date with the competition's products, service offerings and activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with his team and all company support departments.

Skills and professional experience:

  • Pharmaceutical Background
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical company
  • Work at least as a product manager for the last 3 years
  • Strong yet flexible personality
  • Result oriented
  • Excellent  time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively in a cross functional team environment 
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
