MSELECT is looking to hire a Procurement Materials & Logistics Professional for an international oil and gas operator in Erbil. Candidate must have minimum ten years’ experience in relevant role and must be fluent in English and Kurdish Language written and oral

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Manage/ Maintain company Electronic Inventory Data Base System
  • Maintain company Inventory Data Spread Sheets (Excel)
  • Maintain tight control of company Production Inventory and conduct frequent Inventory Audits both in the Warehouse and Field Stores.
  • Capable of Supervising and giving instructions to the company Warehouse Supervisor
  • Coordinate all Trucking requirements to the field
  • Liaison with company Production Specialist in the office and Production Supervisors based in the Field.
  • Assist with company SRF system (Requisitions).
  • Some raising of Job Orders/Purchase/Service Orders maybe required depending on skills.
  • Liaison with Third Party Inspection Companies Experience:
  • Minimum ten Years in the Production Operations Materials, Purchasing & Logistics Role preferably with an IOC.
  • Experience with Drilling Materials & Logistics would be helpful but not essential.
  • International Experience would be helpful but not essential.
  • Must be skilled and experienced in mentoring and training potential trainees
  • Good Understanding of Production systems and Related Equipment from the Operators side.
  • Experienced in International Purchasing Procedures
  • Understanding of European and American Anti-Corruption Laws and regulations.
  • Must be Flexible and a Team Player
  • Good all-round Communication Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel, and Electronic Inventory Systems Tolerant and understanding of different cultures Requirement/Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and capable of Working in the role unsupervised.
  • Candidate must have their own transport to travel from home to the place of Work.
  • Candidate shall agree to a three (3) month probationary period, after which if Candidate is satisfactory and meets Company’s expectations full time position will be offered.
  • Candidate shall have a school diploma.
  • Candidate must be fluent in English Language written and oral.
  • References shall be required from previous employer.
Working Hours:
  • Working Hours are from 08:00 to 17:00 five (5) days per week Sunday to Thursday
  • Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq
  • Local -Full time
