MSELECT is hiring a Training Administrator for an international oil and gas operator in Duhok. Candidate must have minimum 2 years of relevant experience and English, Arabic and Kurdish is a must

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the HR Manager the Training Administrator shall be accountable for ensuring the timely and effective delivery of all training activities conducted in the Field.
The Training Administrator provides training administration and co-ordination support to facilitate training for the field based company staff and contractors with flexibility to give support to the HR team if required.

JOB DIMENSIONS
The field based Training Officer is responsible for managing, developing, and supporting the delivery of a wide range of Technical, HSE and personal development programmes. The job holder will have experience of a wide range of training methods, including on-the-job coaching, competence based technical training and e-learning (computer based training)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To co-ordinate and monitor all field based training activities.
  • Establish and maintain a training database/records system for all field based staff
  • Issue course joining instructions, create and record attendance sheets, and gain course feedback (post attendance)
  • Co-ordinate travel and accommodation (via travel specialist) for company field employees attending courses
  • Track training costs (course fees, travel and accommodation) and provide relevant reports to the HR Manager
  • Liaise with Erbil and Atrush Field HR to ensure starters/leavers are recorded into the training records system
  • Support visiting vendors of specialist equipment to deliver courses
  • Provide internal quality control over the provision of training services delivered by specialist equipment vendors and the appointed training providers
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the company training matrix and course catalogue
  • Support the scheduling of individual training and development plans
  • Ensure that the field training classrooms and practical areas are suitably equipped and maintained
  • Ensure all staff and nominated contractors are registered and enrolled onto the Atlas e-learning courses. Check that the allocated course/s have been successfully completed on time
  • Co-ordinate and record the delivery of the Field Induction programme and present relevant training and HR topics
  • Prepare and submit regular reports for all field based training activities
  • Support the development of the company Competence Assurance Programne (TCAP) for O&M personnel performing Safety Critical Activities (SCA's)
  • Establish and maintain a database/repository for the Knowledge and Capability Assessment documents related to the assurance of safety critical activities
  • Ensure confidentiality is maintained when dealing with employee training and competence assurance records
  • Coordinate the delivery and circulation of training materials (course notes & handbooks)
  • Establish a system for creating and recording course completion certificates (numbered system
  • To participate in and support field based emergency response exercises.
  • Provide holiday/sickness cover for field based HR colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING REQUIRED
Essential
  • Proven and recognized qualification of academic study
  • Technical Diploma
  • Fluent in reading and writing both Kurdish and English (minimum B2 level) Preferred
  • Qualification in Office/Training Administration
  • Trained as Instructor/Presenter
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Essential
  • Knowledge of training management systems
  • Stress resistant and a strong team-player
  • Ability to live/work in a remote and challenging environment
  • IT literate: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
  • Experience in the delivery of competence based Technical and HSE Training courses
