Description

A cover letter is an important type of job search correspondence that accompanies your resume and introduces you and your qualifications to a potential employer. While a resume gives a good overview of all of your experiences and skills, a cover letter gives you the opportunity to describe how those qualifications and experiences match the position you are applying for. This video will introduce two main types of cover letters, 1) letters of inquiry and 2) letters of application. It will explain how to properly structure a cover letter for a job application and share some basic “Dos and Don’ts”.
