PDMS (Plant Design Management System)
PDMS (Plant Design Management System) is 3-D pipe drafting software used mainly in the off-shore and on-shore oil and gas industry. PDMS’s main purpose is to provide a 3D model for designing big plants with more accuracy as per requirements of the project and client demands for particular software in which they want the project to be executed. PDMS is mostly used by Engineering teams of multi-disciplines to convert engineering ideas into 3D environment. It is used and is relevant to larger plants for designing, modeling and extracting of drawings & reports.
Learn the fundamental functions of PDMS
Piping Systems & Components
Drawing production basic and advanced
Interference and clash detection
The learning outcomes
The PDMS application allows engineers and designers at multiple locations to simultaneously create, control and manage change to the project.
Be able to describe piping engineering fundamentals along with pipe fittings and components
Elucidate piping codes, standards, and calculations
Create piping and equipment layout
Develop equipment modeling, pipe modeling, structure modeling, cable tray modeling, and HVAC modeling
Prepare piping deliverable documents and drawings
