MSELECT is looking for a Field Service Engineer for a food and beverage client in Erbil. Candidates must have at least 2- 4 years of experience as a Service Engineer in Beverage Industry. English and Kurdish fluency is a must, Arabic is a plus.


Job Summary

Lead the Team of Service Technicians and set high standards of service. Engineers are required to conduct installation, repairing, maintenance and commissioning in correspondence with the service technicians with regards to all equipment such as Frozen Carbonated and Non-Carbonated dispensers, fountain beverage equipment and any other machines at the customer site or at the workshop.


Key Responsibilities

  • Reactive service to include equipment trouble shooting and diagnosis, part replacement as needed, problem resolution, on site customer training and dialogue and interaction
  • Preventive maintenance to include time management planning and scheduling and equipment cleaning and upgrade
  • Installation and removal of counter top beverage equipment for major accounts to include knowledge of electrical power, water, drain, airflow and space requirements
  • Ability to work remotely in a telecommuting environment processing order information resolve customer equipment issues
  • Remotely order and facilitate delivery of repair parts and customer equipment, maintain inventory and execute equipment pick up and return
  • Proper supervision and control over the service technicians in order to ensure service orders are completed within the response time
  • Ensure timely technical training is facilitated to the service technician
  • Deliver superior customer service to include focus on customer needs, developing and sustaining positive customer relationships, creating and executing plans and solutions in collaboration with customers
  • Knowledge of basic electricity; amperage, voltage and current, understanding of basic heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, water quality and filtration principles
  • Interaction with internal dispatch, planning, inventory, information technology and sales personnel to deliver the service product in the field

  • Machine turnaround time /repair time (#days taken to repair machine off site)


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a recognized institution
  • At least 2-4years of experience as a Service Engineer in Beverage Industry
