MSELECT is looking to hire an Office Services Coordinator for an international oil and gas operator in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience and must be fluent in English, Kurdish and Arabic.


JOB SUMMARY

The Office Services Coordinator will need to carry out varying functions and duties in ensuring that all catering and cleaning (office & accommodation) operations run smoothly while overseeing the catering and cleaning staff to ensure daily requests are carried out and standards are maintained.


MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Order and maintain stock for cleaning items for the cleaning staff
  • Order and maintain stock of groceries for the catering staff
  • Order and maintain stationery and office equipment for the office team
  • Ensure all vendor payments are tracked and paid on time
  • Proactively examine the offices and accommodation villas and apartments daily to ensure high quality of cleaning
  • Coordinate daily activities of the cleaning and catering staff
  • Assign duties to cleaning staff and inspect already completed tasks to ensure compliance with already stated housekeeping standards
  • Report any maintenance need to the Office Facilities Supervisor
  • Support with the setup of new properties during the time of moves/set up or when evacuating out of the property
  • Establish work standards and procedures for the catering and cleaning staff to ensure they adhere to it
  • Make recommendations to help improve services within the organization
  • Prepare weekly reports
  • Other duties as requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be fluent in English and Kurdish
  • Must be able to produce policy documents with a high quality of writing
  • Must be flexible in working schedule as a result of COVID-19 protocol
  • Must have a good knowledge and experience of customer service principles
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Must be able to always communicate effectively and clearly
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to get along well with co-workers and customers/clients
  • Must be willing and able to work as part of a team or even lead a team when called upon to do so
  • Must have good coordination and organizational abilities
  • Must be someone that is trustworthy/honest
  • Must have good time management abilities
  • Must be good at decision making
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Personal car and valid driver’s license is required
