MSELECT is looking to hire a Production Line Supervisor for an FMCG client in Kirkuk-Altun Kopri. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG sector and be fluent in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
Job Summary
Overall the Production Line will be responsible for supervising, directing, managing operations, improving periodic operations, setting regular and preventive maintenance programs, presenting annual maintenance programs for production lines, taking care of equipment, following up on employees’ positions, training and development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Full technical and administrative supervision of production lines
- Planning and development of preventive maintenance programs in order to ensure compliance of machines
- Ensure the realization of the planned production program
- Supervising the periodic maintenance work
- Supervising the annual maintenance of all machines, equipment and devices in accordance with the plans
- Determining the lines' needs for spare tools and working on an order for manufacturing or purchasing them within a reasonable period before the start of annual maintenance
- Perform and impose maintenance activities in the planned periods and prepare all requirements for the success of maintenance operations
- Updating the maintenance work steps according to the approved programs in the factory (ISO system and SAP system)
- Verify the balances of the raw materials received by the line administrators within the mechanisms followed by the company
- Develop work safety procedures, and ensure that work staff follows occupational safety instructions
- Improving the quality of the product and communicating with the quality department to ensure periodic inspections of the products under manufacture
- Follow up and monitor the stock balances of the backup tools
- Preparing production and performance follow-up reports, presenting them to management, and planning and implementing the necessary preventive corrective actions
- Training Shifts Responsible on the required activities and following up on the performance of employees
- Make the necessary adjustments to production plans after consulting the production department and according to the requirements of the work department, monitoring production operations and implementing the required plan
- Ensure that all operators are trained in the procedures for maintenance, repair and cleaning of the machines they are responsible for
- Monitoring efficiencies and stops of line machines
- Planning to secure the human needs of the line, including workers, technicians and operators, in coordination with human resources
- Monitoring the operation of the line at assumed speeds to achieve the assumed production target
- Submitting periodic reports to the production manager
- Follow-up, inventory and reduce waste and damage to the production line
- Follow-up of employees, employee positions and line administrative matters
