MSELECT is hiring a QA/QC Specialist for an international oil and gas operator in Basrah. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English is a must.
 
JOB OBJECTIVE
Monitoring and reviewing all documentation related to HR Department. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and appropriate recording and storage of records, as well as all associated documentation within all sections of HR Department. Archiving the historical and current documents of the HR Department as hard copies and electronic file copies.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Controlling HR Documentation
  • Ensure all documentation is properly and completely recorded
  • Ensure all Policies and Procedures are properly recorded and controlled
  • Interpret, build upon, and comply with Company and Departmental quality assurance standards
  • Check the accuracy of the documentation
  • Maintain historical data of documentation for Audit purposes
  • Carry out other similar or related duties such as compiling statistics for inclusion in departmental activity reports
  • Document quality assurance and quality control activities
  • Develop new standards and implement design for quality assurance and control, with improvements when needed
  • Identify any potential improvement needs and act to ensure company-wide compliance
  • Assist in the audit process by making sure there are accurately conducted
  • Conducting regular reviews and document audits
  • Prepare reports on time when requested
  • Overall understanding of the business context and requirements within the Company and HR Department
  • Drafting minutes of meeting when required
  • Assist in drafting letters, memorandums, policies, procedures
  • Review and update any documentation where needed, prepare workflows
  • Follow and improve document control procedures
  • Ensure all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards
  • Assist in the planning stages of a specific project

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
 
Internal:
  • Colleagues from the HR Department, Audit, Finance and whenever necessary with other Company Departments
External:
  • When required, with BOC and other Governmental entities
Reports:
  • Reports to: ER Section Head
  • Department: Human Resources
  • Section: Employee Relations

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Detailed knowledge of the EDPSC
Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of work-related experience
  • Excellent computer competencies, including database management
  • Demonstrated knowledge in document control
Job-Specific Skills:
  • Proactive personality with extremely high confidential standards
  • Proficient in the use of standard software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Visio etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems
  • Fluency and proficiency in English both verbal and written
  • Flexible with work assignment
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
