MSELECT is looking to hire a Well Services Supervisor for an international oil and gas operator in Duhok. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and be fluent in Kurdish and English.

Job Purpose
Coordinate and direct well service operations in the field including completions and workovers with rig and rigless. Prepare written operations programs in the office.


Responsibilities and Key Objectives

  • To provide well servicing expertise in support of the ongoing drilling, workover and well servicing works on the field.
  • Direct and coordinate activities associated with well servicing, workovers and completions.
  • Stand-alone well activities such as Coiled Tubing / Nitrogen lift, slickline interventions, tree and wellhead maintenance
  • Support the drilling department in all well servicing activities including: Written well programmes, Tool preparation in Erbil and Rig site supervision of well intervention and completion operations
  • Coordinate mobilization and provide operational guidance to third party service providers.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Prepare written operational programs.
  • Act as a safety leader at operational sites and ensure that all corporate HSE guidelines are adhered to.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from recognized academic institution.
  • IWCF Level 4 Well Intervention Certificate

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of combined office and field experience wells services, completions and workover.
  • Detailed experience and knowledge of well intervention tools and completion equipment
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Kurdish
  • Strong commitment to safety.
