Summary:
The Digital Marketing e-Intern will assist MSELECT in strengthening its online marketing strategies and tools to support business growth. S/he will execute specific components of MSELECT’s overall marketing strategy, including implementing its social media strategy, developing new digital marketing initiatives, and creating and implementing an e-media strategy aimed at delivering a consistent, timely and relevant message tailored to the specific needs of clients. This role will also assist in raising MSELECT’s online visibility and support special projects throughout the work term.
NOTE: This is a part-time, virtual paid internship for university students, so the successful candidate will be working from home and can be located anywhere in the world.
Core Duties:
- Develop tools and processes to build MSELECT’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
- Identify new social media channels where MSELECT’s services can be promoted
- Monitor and respond to comments on MSELECT’s various social media pages
- Create and publish regular blogs to raise MSELECT’s profile
- Improve search engine optimization of MSELECT’s website
- Design and execute weekly promotional e-blasts to clients and potential customers
- Ensure consistent application of corporate branding in all published documents and other media
- Assist with special projects in sales and marketing as required
Job Requirements:
Skills and Requirements
- Enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce or similar field
- Proficiency in various social media applications and the internet
- Must be available at least 20 hours per week
- Must be able to make a minimum 3-month commitment
