Job Description

MSELECT is hiring a Services Coordinator for an international oil operator. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with fluency in English and Kurdish is required. 

Job Purpose:
Client has housing units which are used as offices and residential units for its expat personnel. These units need to be cleaned up and maintained. The Services Coordinator will mainly be responsible to ensure the housekeeping and maintenance requirements are delivered. Additionally, the Services Coordinator will also be involved in any office related work. The Services Coordinator directly reports to the SCM Services Manager.

Responsibilities and Key Objectives:

  • Ensures the safety of personnel and assets.

  • Observe and direct the housekeeping and maintenance personnel to deliver the required daily services.

  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inspection in the housing units and offices to prevent any potential hazard/issue.

  • Plan and supervise all preventative maintenance activities in the housing units and offices.

  • Plan the daily working schedule of housekeeping and maintenance crews.

  • Coordinates with facility management contractors to ensure all the required maintenance work are performed.

  • Responsible for key control of housing units and escort the janitorial and housekeeping crew on daily basis.

  • Maintains the spare parts inventory for maintenance needs.

  • Track and report janitorial housekeeping and maintenance material needs with ensuring advance orders are in place for up-keeping the minimum required inventory for all units.

  • Becomes available for emergency cases after working hours.

  • Performs any office related activities.  

  • The Services Coordinator will be working from Saturday to Wednesday and will be off on Thursday and Friday. The Services Coordinator must be available during emergencies after working hours, on weekends or during holidays.

Education:
A degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of similar working experience with international oil and gas companies.

  • Very good knowledge in HES standards of international oil and gas companies.

  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to work with multi national and diverse customer base.

  • People skills are essential with ability to work on multi-task safely.

  • Ability to manage the field activities in efficient way.

  • Ability to respond to tasks and urgent requests in a timely manner.

  • Fluency in communications orally & writing - in English and Kurdish. Arabic is a plus.
