Job Description

MSELECT is looking to hire a Technologist to work in Baghdad or Erbil for an international technology solutions provider,  minimum 8-10 years of experience in the industry of Milling Machines, fluency in Arabic and English is a must.

Purpose of the job
Provide technical advice and direction in his field of specialization. First point of contact whenever technical know-how is needed. Represents the company towards external stakeholder. Guides and supports the Technical discussion in the country

Job responsibilities
  • Doing mill surveys or site visits and establish solutions
  • Establish concept flow diagrams according company standards
  • Assess the mechanical and electrical installation and communicate with personal in charge. Resolve questions or problems that occur during installation and commissioning. Verify that direction and IO test has been done before doing a dry run
  • Assess the customer’s installed base and identify potential problem areas influencing quality, capacity and operation of the customer plant
  • Make suggestion for the rectification of identified problem
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationship with customer and customer employees.  
  • Capture return of experience and best practice, apply lessons learned to all templates
Job requirements
  • Certified Milling Education
  • Certificate from the Swiss Milling school or Equivalent is an added advantage
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the industry, including experience in his field of specialization
  • Insightful, able to collaborate with other management team members in developing strategy and implementing business plans 
  • Proven ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Fluent communication in English and Arabic Languages
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company
  • Sound judgment and decision making skills
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution and facilitation
