MSELECT is looking for a very specific role within the HSE field; a QA/QC & QHSE Manager. 

Job Description:

  • Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with company Quality Management System AND Quality, Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Not undertake any task for which authorization and/or training has not been given.
  • Ensure the highest standard of workmanship produced is in accordance with the company expectations and as per customer, regulatory standards and specification.
  • Promote good health, safety and environmental practices throughout all company activities.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment required.
  • Take care to prevent harm to myself and others or the environment that may be caused by our acts or omissions.
  • Keep work area neat, organized & free of trip and other hazards.
  • Report hazards in plant, equipment and other work place, or short comings in the existing controls, to a superior without delay.
  • Help the managements system by expressing better and safer ways to perform tasks and improve policies and procedures.
  • Participate in QHSE training required to meet minimum identified for position undertaken
  • Attend QHSE meetings and training as and when required.



• Familiarity with Quality Manual System (QMS) and how this is applied systemically.
• Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge base of company operations a clear understanding of business processes, systems and inherent risks associated with them
• Participates in identifying and evaluating the organization’s audit risk areas and provides input to the development of the risk-based annual internal audit plans.
• Has proficiency in process assessment, quality assurance, and root cause analysis methodology.
• Take ownership of and perform end to end audits including planning, scoping, fieldwork, testing and the delivery of high quality written audit reports and applicable corrective actions through his QAQC Team.
• Cooperates in applying established audit methodologies to ensure compliance with international and national standards, assessing procedures, work instructions, and manuals associated with the Quality Management System.
• Analyzes corrective action trends and suggests effective preventive actions.
• Performs or assists in the performance of supplier quality system assessments or performance based assessments. .
• Assesses conformance to, and effectiveness of, operating practices for satisfaction of the requirements contained in purchase orders, drawings, and specifications, operating procedures and other Quality Management System documents and industry standards.
• Evaluates overall level of performance in major functional areas identifying strengths and concerns related to processes/procedures internally, to client, and to client’s supplier organizations,
• May work under direction of project team leader, or serve as the Project Team Leader.
• Conducts follow-up activities to verify the completion and effectiveness of reported corrective actions taken to resolve non-compliance or performance issues.
• Maintains appropriate records, provides input for managerial summaries, and assures that historical records are complete and maintained appropriately.
• Develops procedures/processes in line with internal or client requirements.
• Fosters and maintains productive team-oriented relationships through individual and group meetings.
• Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established QHS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to stop work when an unsafe condition or action is identified.
• Complies with QMS/QHSE policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
• To Lead the QAQC Engineers and inspectors, May perform other duties as required.




-Performs internal quality audits and ensures that organizational systems and practices are in compliance with the ISO standards of the Company

-Review existing QHSE policies and practices of the Company to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments

-Assist in the investigation of all incidents (Recordable Incidents, Near Miss and First Aid) and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.

-To make assessment and improvement steadily; to identify hazards and risks with objective attitude, considering details thoroughly and performing effective management

-To optimize management techniques, comply with laws, rules and regulations and strengthen training to improve the sense and skills of self-protection, striving for ZERO fatal or serious injury incidents

-Assist in the implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure "lessons learned" are communicated throughout the Company and are incorporated in policy/procedure, where necessary

-Serve as the Company expert & a single point of contact within the field of QHSE when called upon to address regulatory agency compliance issues, third party safety & liability consultants and subcontractor representatives

-Document all safety violations or unsafe conditions/activities; ensures corrective measures are immediately implemented; follows through to insure corrections have been made

-Assists and participates in developing company safety and health procedures and programs, including periodic updates of practices and policies

-Develop a site specific Emergency Management Plan and communicate this plan through orientation to all personnel Provide regular written reports, as well as other production-related results and updates to Management

-Implements standards of performance benchmarks and key performance indicators that allow accurate measurement of safety performance and improvement

-Stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position


  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering.
  • Usage of all Precision Measuring Instruments like, Micrometre, Vernier Calliper, Bore Gauges etc.
  • Knowledge industry and general oilfield criteria, requirements, standards and governing bodies’ documents and documentation.
  • Proper English Language writing and communication skills.
  • Good communication skills internally and with clients.
  • Microsoft Office Skills, general internet and emailing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in field.
