mselect is looking to hire an Accounting Executive for a consultancy client in Dubai. Candidates must have at least 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Fluency in English is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gathering and validation of the accounting and reporting data to prepare the monthly and yearly MIS for the management including financial statements, sales, and ad hoc reports
  • Assisting in the reconciliation of all the accounting transaction with the accounting system and data on drive such as revenue, cost of revenue, and admin services
  • Ensure the correctness of general ledgers, nature, and classification of all the accounting transactions
  • Posting of month end closing adjusting entries such as depreciation of fixed asset, prepared expenses amortization, accruals, and provisions
  • Assisting in monthly reconciliation of all the statements of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Responsible for the verification of the bank reconciliation and Intercompany company account’s reconciliations provided by treasury team
  • Checking and verification of the weekly and monthly cash reconciliation accounts
  • Assisting in the preparing of the financial statement, and audit files at the end of year
  • Handling the admin task of the UAE office like renewal of the trade license, office rent agreement, and staff residency visas
  • Assisting in the gathering of financial information for forecasts and budgets
  • Preparation of the VAT returns of the UAE company
  • Handling administrative task related to the UAE office

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-3 years’ experience in bookkeeping and accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Ability to work independently and complete job duties according to established deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Must be a problem solver, accurate, and proactive
  • Can-do attitude and reliable
