mselect is looking to hire an Activity Planning Systems & Performance Analyst for an international oil and gas operator in Basrah, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Synopsis
The role AP Systems and Performance Analyst responsibilities include Primavera P6 User Administration, development of Planning Power BI dashboards, monitoring of metrics and providing insights into planning improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with IT Team to define, configure, implement, and manage wide planning and scheduling tools.
    • Ensure the Activity Planning Toolset and associated working practices are consistent with best practices.
    • Identify and implement tools specific to the needs.
    • Support APM with developing AP systems and tools with input from the wider Activity Planning team.
    • Lead the change to move the company to enhanced standard systems and tools.
    • Act as a key change agent by working with the AP team to embed the Activity Planning process.
  • Work closely with Activity Planning team members to develop an Activity Planning process that is fully supported by tools design (including all elements required in support of functional scheduling, execution management and reporting)
    • Identify and implement interfaces with external companies, as required.
  • Deliver Activity Planning Systems and Tools training programs to build scheduling capabilities.
    • Establish Activity Planning Systems and tools competency matrix for all planners, schedulers, and AP team members. Identify gaps.
    • Design and implement Activity Planning systems and tools training.
  • Ensure Planning Systems and Tools sustainability.
    • Provide day-to-day user support for any systems and tools issues.
    • Ensure integrity of Activity Planning Toolset to support an efficient scheduling process.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of integrated schedules.
    • Support Activity Planning team to develop and maintain cross functional integrated schedules.
  • Power BI & Metrics Management
    • Develop PBI Planning Dashboards & monitor metrics

Requirements:
  • Degree level qualification, or equivalent experience, required
  • 3 years relevant planning experience

Rotation: 21 Days On/ 21 Days Off
