Job Objective
We are seeking a highly qualified General Manager with a proven track record in commercial leadership, warehouse management, and the manufacturing lines. The ideal candidate should have a solid trade and financial background in the food industry, particularly with a deep understanding of the Iraqi market. The ability to expand trading activities in the region and responsibility for setting and achieving budget and financial targets are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Trade and Financial Management: Oversee and manage all trade and financial aspects of the business, ensuring profitability and compliance with financial targets
- Market Expansion: Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Iraqi market to identify and capitalize on opportunities for expanding trading activities
- Budget Setting and Achievement: Take a lead role in setting and achieving budget and financial targets, working collaboratively with the leadership team
- Commercial Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in commercial activities, driving growth and ensuring sustainable business practices
- Warehouse Management: Supervise warehouse operations, optimizing efficiency, and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Manufacturing: Oversee the manufacturing lines, ensuring quality standards and production efficiency
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels within the team and with external stakeholders
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
- Team Management: Lead and motivate the team to achieve high performance and foster a positive working environment
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in a General Manager role
- Proven record in commercial leading roles
- Expertise in warehouse management
- Experience in the production of manufacturing lines
- Outstanding communication skills
