mselect is looking to hire an HR Coordinator for an international energy client in Basra, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proactively plan and coordinate recruitment for all positions within the relevant departments; launching the recruitment process, organizing attraction campaigns and candidate sourcing, short listing candidates, skills & personality testing, behavioural interview assessment with line manager
  • Assist the Lead recruiter in the preparation and execution of an efficient recruitment plan
  • Coordinate the recruitment process: advertising, sorting of the CV, conducting interviews, tests
  • Receive all the job applications, sort and classify based on each profession and store in database for retrieval as and when required
  • Specific recruitment processing tasks include: short listing candidate CV's against job descriptions, updating vacancy and applicant status within the recruitment procedure, organizing interviews and producing interview schedules, liaising with applicants to provide updates on their progress
  • Liaising with agencies during the interviewing and on boarding process
  • Arrange for test & interview appointments with the short-listed candidates for technical and administrative testing
  • Promote best recruitment practice and implement company recruitment policy, share ideas and information to ensure consistency through a value- added services
  • Prepare recruitment reports as required internally and externally (Basra Employment Centre)
  • Ensure that all recruitment statistics are up to date
  • Follow up on probation assessments and related reports

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree level with at least 5 - 8 years’ experience within HR both in Administration and HR Development
  • Good understanding HR tools, policies and practices
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, diplomacy
  • Ability to work with a network of correspondents internally as well as externally
  • Ability to work in context of heavy workload, variety of tasks to be performed, emergency situations to be solved multicultural environment
  • Autonomy is required
  • Good command of the English language
