mselect is looking to hire a HR Organizational Alignment Coordinator for an international energy client in Basra, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in organizational design, change management, or related HR functions is essential, preferably in a large organization within the energy sector or a related industry. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Job Descriptions
  • Work closely with managers to ensure availability, actuality, and meaningfulness of Job descriptions for each position
  • Responsible for quality control of the Job Descriptions, ensuring clarity and sufficiency of the content, adequacy of the profile, adherence to required format
  • Ensure the content of each Job description is sufficient for evaluation of the position
  • Identify discrepancies between the job titles and job descriptions, work with managers to define the best title reflecting the content of the job and hierarchical level, ensuring the organizational transparency and user-friendliness

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Health, Safety and Environment (HSE):
  • Ensure that job descriptions include relevant safety responsibilities and requirements to promote safe work practices and mitigate potential hazards
  • Advocate for HSE considerations during organizational changes to ensure that safety aspects are adequately addressed
Organizational structure:
  • Work closely with entities’ management to identify, clarify, and implement organizational needs, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the organizational layout to improve efficiency, adaptability, productivity, cross-functional collaboration, and resource-sharing
  • Ensure the hierarchical logic in the organization, while facilitating easy cross-functional collaboration, and availability of pooled resources
  • Propose changes to organization to streamline processes and improve decision-making, eliminate resource waste, and reduce duplications of roles
  • Collaborate closely with entities’ management, systematically ensure the RACI analysis of the organization, to define its optimal layout
  • Utilize Human Recourses (HR) data and analytics to identify trends and patterns related to organizational effectiveness. Make data-driven recommendations for improvements and adjustments
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive organizational charts that depict organizational structure, reporting lines, functional relationships, and hierarchy across the organization. Publish monthly organizational chart updates
  • Analyse and propose timely adjustments of the organizational entities, coordinating with MIS (Management Information System) entity and headquarters’ Governance entity for their implementation
  • Ensure timely and accurately issuance of Notes of Appointment or Nomination to reflect the DOA (Delegation of Authority), or additional roles assigned. Maintain an up-to-date and accessible database for stakeholders
  • Timely and accurately create the positions in HRIS (HR4U, local HRIS or any other HR databases)
  • Ensure timely updates in case of any modifications
Staffing categories:
  • Collaborate closely with entities’ management to identify the optimal staffing category for each position based on requirements and skills, and the knowledge about the availability of the required profiles on the market and internally
  • Ensure compliance with Iridisation obligations and other related Key Performance Indicators
  • Provide regular analysis and reporting, identify discrepancies, propose efficient solutions
Reporting and audits:
  • Provide regular meaningful reporting to support managerial decisions
  • Participate in the internal and external audits to ensure adherence to established processes and compliance with relevant regulations
Other:
  • Act as focal point for all employees and managers inquiries regarding organizational structure, planning, job descriptions, etc. ensuring a high level of professionalism
  • Ensure highest quality of organizational data and related reporting, as well as organizational charts
  • Participates in different HR Campaigns and Projects
  • Proactively contribute to optimization of internal practices and reporting, automation of the processes

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Advanced degree or certifications in relevant areas are advantageous
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in organizational design, change management, or related HR functions is essential, preferably in a large organization within the energy sector or a related industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify organizational needs, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) data analysis and utilization of HR analytics to make data-driven recommendations for organizational effectiveness
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity in job descriptions, organizational charts, and reporting
  • Proficiency in Organization Charts software, familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and other relevant technology for data management and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present findings, and advocate for organizational effectiveness consideration
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Highly organized with the capability to meet tight deadlines. Discreet, responsible and having a sense of duty, team playing profile
  • Cross-cultural thinking
  • Excellent knowledge of English language (speaking and writing)
