mselect is looking to hire a Senior Logistics HSE Audit Advisor for an international oil and gas operator in Basrah, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in fleet operation and managing HSE inspections. Fluency in English is a must, Arabic is a plus.

Job Purpose
The Logistics HSE Audit - Head Shall Undertake the functions of all logistics HSE activities and operation and give support to section heads / IFMS HSE and its operations as per company policy and contract conditions.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Maintain a plan of audit and Inspection for all Logistics Function
  • Review and amend the work instructions of all Logistics Sections
  • Coach the work instructions to all logistics sections head
  • Audit the Bus Schedule and shuttle services if functioning as per the work instructions
  • Audit the Vehicles and Its Maintenance records to confirm if the fleet is compliance as per the company requirements
  • Audit IVMS functions and advise if any non-conformances
  • Coordinate with the company HSE staff for 7 Pillars implementation
  • Conduct daily Tool box talk with the drivers on safe journey management procedure
  • Audit if the drivers / Infield transportation does daily vehicle checks on the seatbelt, airbag, first aid kits etc.
  • Prepare Monthly report for the number of audits conducted and improvisation implemented
  • Manage incident reporting and Full Investigation for all Logistics related Functions
  • Conduct regular planned site visits to logistics contractor facility along with the section heads.
  • Prepare presentations and Incident learning (from various incidents) to coach all logistics staff.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly reports as requested by head of logistics

REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • Degree in any discipline or equivalent experience in logistics Ops
Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in fleet operation, managing HSE inspections, Knowledge of Safety standards and administration
  • Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all logistics sections
Software:
  • Well versed in MS office
Language:
  • English – upper intermediate (verbal & written)
Skills:
  • Understand the necessity of Audit and Inspection
  • Implement safe journey management procedures
  • Manage the HSE functions of logistics
  • Good Negotiation skills with logistics section heads
  • Manage the vehicle specification as per standards
  • Knowledge in preparing monthly reporting and KPI
  • Communication skills
Rotation: 28 Days On/ 28 Days Off
