mselect is looking for a Sales Manager for an FMCG client in Baghdad. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing sales plans: Develop sales plans and strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. This includes setting sales targets, developing marketing campaigns, and identifying new business opportunities
  • Managing a sales team: Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to help them meet their targets
  • Recruit, hire, and train new sales staff
  • Building and maintaining client relationships: build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues they may have
  • Identify new potential clients and develop strategies to win their business
  • Analysing sales data: Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement
  • Monitoring sales performance, tracking market trends, and conducting market research
  • Managing budgets: Manage sales budgets and expenses, ensuring that they are allocated effectively and efficiently to achieve sales targets
  • Collaborating with other departments: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with overall business objectives
  • Developing and implementing sales training programs: Develop and implement sales training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of sales staff
  • Monitoring and reporting on sales performance: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management on progress towards sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other metrics
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales and marketing strategies
  • Conducting sales presentations and negotiations with key customers
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations
  • Creating sales reports and presenting them to senior management, highlighting sales trends, opportunities, and challenges in the assigned territory

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales and Marketing, or a related field
  • Prior sales experience, preferably in a similar industry minimum 10 years, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Proficient in the use of CRM software and other sales tools
  • Strong analytical skills to analyse sales data, identify trends, and create effective sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, and distributors
  • Ability to travel frequently to different locations within the assigned territory

  • Good negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts with customers and other stakeholders
