Job Brief:
The Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the accounting department, with a focus on accounts receivable and client billings and collections.
Responsibilities:
- Open the customers’ accounts as per policy
- Reconcile the top MT customers, and manage the AR reconciliation in the branches 80% monthly and 20 Quarterly
- Monthly AR aging review with Sales managers across all branches
- Control the Customers Contracts and apply the calculation on the ERP on time
- Prepare the credit ceiling update every quarter as per policy and update on ERP
- Provide all concerned parties with all the needed reports (Aging / Collection / # of new customers)
- follow up and track all delivery / invoicing and raise the red flag for any delay, and prepare the monthly performance report (Delivery / Returnee / Retuned orders)
- Review and post all customers discounts and post the related transactions
- Perform any other duties assigned by finance manager
REQUIREMENTS
Academic qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor in accountant or any other related area
- Training course in accounting and finance
- FMCG background
Experience and skills:
- Minimum 2-year experience in accountant dept
- Familiar in ERP (Odoo Preferred)
Personal qualities & behavioral traits:
- Written and Verbal communication skills in Kurdish, Fluent in Arabic is Must
- Good knowledge in Computer programs especially in Excel and Microsoft offices
