mselect is looking to hire a Trade Marketing Manager for an international FMCG client in Erbil. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and be fluent in English and Arabic. 

KEY ACTIVITIES
Trade Marketing implementation
  • Support locally implementation of company building blocks (distribution, freshness, visibility, price consumer, display)
  • Support strategic development of retail mix: spaces, exhibits, promotion, POS Materials, planogram (shelf, off shelf, check out, displays)
  • Improve Visibility in Modern Trade & Lower Trade in the Levant area (by implementing POSM , increasing the share of shelf, shelf dressings )
  • Analyse countries in order to support the development of all guidelines in terms of shelf implementation, OOS activities and implementation and check out
  • Support the Trade marketing manager, periodically, to identify the right number of POS (by store format) where implement activities of the annual calendar based on their potentiality and rental cost
  • Manage implementation of the activities plan in the POS, means that for any activity there are 3 steps to follow to make sure everything is as planned
  • Get the Planning list of stores 3 weeks prior the activity (do the necessary modification is needed)
  • Get the Confirmation list 1 week prior the activity 
  • Get the implementation list with the expected date of implementation 3 days after the activity start 
  • Identify best location in  POS where to implement activities and materials
  • Identify cross branding position in order to catch a new opportunity for company brands
  • Catch all opportunities in the markets to develop new project in modern trade ( pillar branding, shelf branding, check out implementation)according with company guidelines
  • Make proposal in POS to test new cross category sales, new materials or new products
  • Collaborate with distributors (sales/trade marketing) in order to  share company plans (canvass , selling sheet) and organize the monthly plan (new launches, incentive, new opportunities)
DATA ANALYSIS: analyse all the data from distributors system to keep the monthly tracking of company performance, in terms of coverage, frequency of purchase and  volume/ value.


POS materials management
  • Collaborate with the POSM Harmonization Team to identify the local supplier in order to reduce the cost of materials and/or create tailor made materials in line with brands strategy and local needs
  • Ensure correct quality, quantity and distribution of  POS materials
  • Collaborate with local team of distributors to be sure to have all materials shipped from supplier in the warehouse without delays.
  • Receive feedback from the field on POS materials in order to adapt materials according to the field requirements and marketing guidelines
  • Manage of the distributor warehouse in terms of POS materials monitoring materials in the warehouse to understand local needs

Sales support
  • Support sales force to respect company building blocks, implement annual calendar, permanent POSS /Branding and to ensure all local people work with the same guidelines and building blocks definitions
  • Share with sales all guidelines /plans / argumentations in order to support them for further improvements
  • Share with TM sales advises in order to adapt/change (where it is possible) plans
  • Implement periodic training with sales team and merchandising
  • Golden Store Project
  • Weekly analysis of the results of surveys, correct salesman activities and sharing the results in monthly bases.
  • Communicate daily agenda to sales team with promo and main activities
  • Support sales team in order to have right monitoring of the market
  • Support the definition of the periodic targets

Fridge Project
  • According with the Guidelines defined, schedule continuous training for the local sales force of fridges to manage the right planogram (no competitors), fridge temperature, cleanliness, presence in the POS and insure the right rotation and order of the SKUs
  • Define, together with the distributor, the list of stores where the fridges have to be implemented.
  • Analysis of performance pre and post implementation
Specific knowlege
  • Trade Marketing , Category Management processes and practice, Know–how on Shopper behavior, Sales field, Merchandising, Market Knowledge: Traditional & Modern Trade, Impulse Channel
  • Understanding of Commercial Supply Chain process
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solver skills
  • Fluency in English and Arabic mother tongue
